Plans and account
You can use SessionPaw without an account. Paid plans support development and raise your daily allowance.
How the free allowance works
SessionPaw does not lock features behind a plan. Instead, some actions count toward a daily allowance.
- Actions that count include Save All, Close All, the Hibernate menu, setting window colors, pinning tabs to Pin Tabs, splitting windows, moving tabs or windows by dragging, and saving a Concept Mode map as a session.
- Clicking a tab, searching, reading and opening things do not count.
- The count resets every day.
- On the free plan, you'll see short reminders as you get close.
- When you go over, those actions show a message and do nothing until the next day. Everything else keeps working.

Prices and the daily allowance can change. The Plans page in the app (click the plan label next to your name) always shows the current offer. If you already subscribe, you keep the price you signed up at.
The plan label
Next to your name at the top of Side View and the Popup is a small label showing your plan. Click it to see the plans.
Sign in and subscribe
Payments and sign-in are handled by ExtensionPay, a service for browser extension payments. SessionPaw never sees your card details.
Your plan lives in Settings → Usage, at the top.
- See plans: compare plans and subscribe, monthly or yearly.
- Already paid? Log in: choose the plan you subscribed to, then sign in with the email you used to pay.
- Once you're signed in and paid: Manage subscription opens the ExtensionPay page, where you can change your card or cancel.
Your sign-in is stored in the browser's synced extension storage, so it follows you to other computers where you use the same browser profile.
Your profile
Click your avatar at the top of Side View to open Settings → Profile.
- Avatar: the first one that's set is used.
- A picture from this computer. It's saved right away and needs no login. A tiny copy follows your browser account.
- A Gravatar email.
- An image link. It must be a public image.
- Otherwise the SessionPaw logo.
- Nickname and Signature: shown at the top of Side View.
Gravatar, the image link, the nickname and the signature need you to be logged in. Click Save to keep your changes, or Cancel to undo them.
Sign out
Click your email at the top right of Settings → Profile and confirm.
